Dementia

Dementia

Faces fuse into pieces of past lives whose bits become part of who I may be.
West winds wrestle among the green leaves of now without regret.
Cicadas buzz in rhythmic sound waves as heat slides over stillness of
another day unremembered.
I listen to the alto wind chimes as the breezes brush by me
and my innermost prayer whisper you an embrace.
